Terms of Service
1. Scope of Services
Straetum LLC, through its websites qurban.io (English), qurban.fr (French), and qurban.me (Arabic), provides a delegation service for the following Islamic ritual acts:
- Qurbān (Udhiyah) for Eid al-Adha
- ʿAqīqah (sacrifice for the newborn)
- Ṣadaqah (voluntary animal sacrifice)
By purchasing, the customer appoints Straetum LLC as their agent (wakīl) to perform the ritual sacrifice in accordance with Islamic principles.
2. What You Receive
By placing an order, you:
- Delegate us to perform the sacrifice in your name.
- Authorize us to mention the name you provide at the time of slaughter: "Bismillāh Allāhu Akbar, in the name of Client Name".
- Understand that the meat is distributed to underprivileged Muslim communities, often feeding 15-25 people per sheep.
- Receive video documentation of your sacrifice, typically a few days after its execution.
3. Pricing & Payment
- Prices include animal sourcing, slaughter, video documentation, meat distribution and logistics.
- Payment is processed securely via Stripe, PayPal, or other authorized methods.
- Orders are only confirmed upon receipt of full payment.
- No additional fees apply after payment, unless otherwise indicated.
4. Execution Timeline
Eid al-Adha: Sacrifices are performed during the official Eid days (10-13 Dhul Hijjah).
ʿAqīqah / Ṣadaqah: Generally completed within 3-7 business days.
Customers receive a personalized video confirming:
- The name mentioned at the time of sacrifice
- The animal slaughtered
- (If possible) the meat distribution
5. Religious Standards
All sacrifices comply with Islamic requirements:
- Slaughtered by qualified Muslims.
- Performed with a sharp blade and humane methods.
- Tasmiyah and Takbīr are recited.
- Animals meet Islamic criteria (age, health, species).
6. Refund Policy
No refund once the sacrifice has been performed.
Full or partial refunds may apply if: the service cannot be executed due to unforeseen events (e.g., animal shortage, emergencies), or a delay exceeds 15 days (except during Eid where global backlog may affect delivery).
Straetum LLC will offer:
- A full refund,
- A postponement,
- Or a redirection to another region (with consent).
7. Client Responsibilities
You must:
- Provide the correct name to be pronounced during the ritual.
- Confirm the intended sacrifice type (Qurbān, ʿAqīqah, Ṣadaqah).
- Avoid requesting acts that violate Islamic law or deceive the religious purpose of the service.
8. Personal Data Usage
- Your personal data is used solely to fulfill your order.
- Your video is private and confidential, shared only with you, unless you authorize public sharing.
- We do not sell your data to third parties.

9. Legal Liability
Straetum LLC is not liable for:
- Delays due to natural disasters, political disruptions, or third-party logistics failures.
- Misspellings or mispronunciations due to incorrect or unclear client information.
- Minor discrepancies in the sacrifice video that do not affect the ritual's validity.
10. Governing Law & Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA.
In case of conflict:
- Both parties agree to attempt an amicable resolution.
- Failing that, disputes may be submitted to arbitration or mediation in Sheridan County, WY.
11. Acceptance
By placing an order, you confirm that:
- You understand and agree to delegate the sacrifice to Straetum LLC.
- You accept the religious and logistical framework described.
- You fully accept these Terms of Service.
